Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton documentary movie is about an hour and a half. Before the movie started, I assumed on the fact that it would be about how two haute couture power houses came together, but it wasn’t about that. I was taken by surprise it was about the story of an artist.
This film is specific in its focus; its about an artist and his process. He follows Marc Jacobs from show to show as him and his team build and remodel, revamp the designs at a fast pace. The director of the film, leads the viewer through a journey which ultimately leads towards a better appreciation of high fashion as truly unique art form. Marc Jacobs is pleasant to watch. American designer being the creative director of Louis Vuitton of French brand is quite unique its own nature. The film also explains how and why Marc Jacobs and his designs are so successful. The documentary also discuses about his works which differ at his design house to the legendary Louis Vuitton.
A lot of movies have been made on artists which is quite common now, but one does rarely provide with such unique insight on the fashion world and its process of making. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie..!
