crazy for skirts? try trendy ones.!

I’m on a christmas break from my university and came to my hometown to spend the christmas with my family friends. Since the day I’ve come, I’ve noticed women fashion changing here, women are experimenting with their wardrobe, most of them opting for maxi skirts. This is not a reflection of what I learnt in my class but since I’m interested in more of styling part of the fashion degree of mine, I’ve to update myself with the latest trends going on.

Skirts are the most  versatile wardrobe item and can be worn for any occasion during day or night. One can pick from both designer stores or high street.

Full skirt: Full skirts are ideal for a super girly look and certainly give any outfit touch of lady likeness. Simple cami tops tucked in with such skirts can do wonders especially if paired with a pair of ballerina pumps or one can even experiment with it by wearing a simple crop top with the full skirt.

Tube skirt: From one extreme to the other, the tube skirt is the skin tight option. If one is worried about flaunting the figure, one should wear a peplum top over the tube skirt to balance out the look and cover the tummy.

Pleated skirts: Skirts for 2014 have been given a school edge with pretty pleats adding a feminine touch to the wardrobe. Both fine pleats are in style and are ideal for both day and night. Wear the pleats during the day with a slouchy knit and a pair of slip-on trainers, then in the evening ramp up the glamour with strappy heals. Cami top and a touch of jewelry.

Maxi skirts: Maxi skirts are still a must have for this season and this will last season after season. For summers team it up with sandals during the day and wedges for the evening.

Skorts: The skirt certainly made a comeback this year and has dominated the high street. Ideal for those who want to flash some legs. Team it up with ‘barely there’ heels to truly long leg that look.
