Hi guys! So I’ve collected some inspiration for my trend booklet layout as I’ve my summer uni work to do! The brief says that I need to make a trend booklet on Autumn Winter 2015 either a combination of womenswear and menswear or just womenswear/menswear. I’m currently deciding on what trends to focus on, I collected some visual inspiration and layout for my trend booklet!

hey guys! how are you? I got my second year reading list and I got my books yesterday! I’ve to start reading them and review them and make a trend report.. Basically you guys can say that Uni for me has already begun! but i don’t mind! I’ve read few pages or i rather call chapters in tipping point and it is inspiring! I would recommend everyone to read the tipping point by Malcolm Gladwell!
Also I’ve some news for you guys!! are you ready for it!!???

Hey guys! How have you been? Usually you guys know for couple of weeks I’ve been talking about hairstyling, makeup and styling tips but today it’s a bit different! Since I’m on my summer break and summer is about to end, it’s time to talk about my uni again! I will be leaving my hometown, (New Delhi) in couple of weeks and going back to my uni starting a new year there!! I’m so excited!! A lot has happened in my first year!!
In some earlier posts, I spoke about how I am going to start my second semester in year one! Now it’s time that I talk about how I’m going to take the feedback given to me and use the strengths to cover my weakness. My feedback tells me I need to link my digital work with what I write I need to connect the dots. To overcome this problem I’m going to make the font of my work and digital work the same or of the same category rather than having a contrasting font.
I also need to improve on my time management skills to get a good grade next year! So next year I will be working side by side and in advance so later on I have time to revise and proof read my work as it is very important.
Simply seeing my work I can say I really enjoy the digital part of course where we create posters and edit photography on photoshop, Indesign and illustrator not to forget I really like styling looks and blogging, to keep my passion alive I will be focusing on collaborating with different people and students in my course. Also that I reach my goal, I will be doing some short courses such as styling and media, fashion illustration course which will give an exposure!
I love my workbook any idea… I mean literally any idea which can be stupid first i jot it down in my workbook and work on that.. (The idea needs to be relevant to the brief given to us). I personally believe that we all need to have plan A no plan B because if we have that we will not focus and give our 100% to plan A.

hi guys! So the wait is over now I’m uploading my editorial shoot! it took me time because I was attaching copyright!! so here it is
Doing an editorial on zodiac signs is something which is different from everyone, as each sign has its own qualities and characteristics which are different from others. We all might have the same birthday year, or some might have the same birthdate but each possess a quality which is different. Some actually possess the typical zodiac trait. There are many fashion magazines that have done zodiac signs as editorial , why is my different from them?
The answer to this question is portraying signs in a different way, actually showing the incomplete signs, which will make people wonder about the other signs. The concept is still the same, zodiac signs, what my message is zodiac signs cannot define your identity, your attitude does, having one model to do these 4 signs actually signfies that she is one girl who has different sides but people think she must be of a particular sign but in reality she is just a normal girl who believes in one love, which means having no sexism, racism.

It’s been almost 2 weeks that I’ve completed my summer course at London College of Fashion and now I’m back to my home town New Delhi.. I’m already missing my course now and my first year uni results are about to come around next week and it is so so so hot in New Delhi!! I’m burning!! 😛 well cutting long story short, I thought of sharing some pictures I clicked before the shoot..
I know these are only two images of backstage but trust me, we all had 15 minutes to shoot are editorial look and I had 5-6 changes because of theme I was so caught up with dressing my friend (who is my model) I literally forgot to click and shoot behind the scenes!

here you must be thinking what does fashion astrology means? i know it is just the inspiration i have for my editorial shoot which will be at LCF. i will be shooting about 6-8 zodiac signs and showing the elements of those signs as a metaphor. The signs won’t be screaming I’m this or that one has to figure it out what sign it could be… Here are some examples that I collected when I was researching on zodiac theme fashion..
Now here are the test shoot that I did.

Like here, I mirrored the image to showcase ‘the twins’ aka The Gemini.. All the zodiac signs would be shot in a different way and will have an indirect link to its meaning.

Hi guys! how are you today? SO i’m at London College of Fashion now and working on my fashion styling shoot! I’ve my submissions on 19th June and shoot coming up! yea it’s a pretty intense course!! I know the title may seem daft but I will talk about it now.. So today I had my first summer school class in London College of Fashion (not really I’m posting about this later) , and frankly speaking I’m loving it already! In our first class we talked about how we see our first impressions! A person is more than first impression on us! ‘First Impression’ was an exercise conducted by our tutors for us and in it we were supposed to ask questions which are divided in 4-5 categories and choose 2 questions and any of 3 categories. Having diverse students in class from Iceland, Japan, Brazil, India is making it quite interactive and getting to know more about different cultures and how fashion is there in that culture..

hey guys! how are you today? so yesterday I had my last seminar and lecture of my first year! yea! time flies. It feels like yesterday I was entering Uni as a fresher.! so in our last seminar we were talking about our future plans and students who had a similar or same future plans they ended up in the same group and discussed on how to achieve those goals!
I’m very interested in doing fashion styling and photography. doing a research on this i got to know its a long way to go. Firstly I need to a course in photography, and styling. and build my portfolio. Honestly that will take a while. but to get it started I will be watching youtube videos on tips and tricks on working with a professional camera and building my photography portfolio by spotting street trends. so I will be volunteering for styling for shoots and doing my own photography in set with the art directors (student art directors for projects). Since photography is so diverse I’ve would be working on post production as well. Ever since i completed my foundation in visual arts I was sure of one thing having post production skills will be handy. I will soon make a website for my photography and actively promote it. Just imagine working with Vogue editors and art directors on photoshoots, getting to shoot in exotic locations!! I know you guys must be thinking she is dreaming too big! but my belief is Dreams don’t work unless you do!

how are you lovelies out there? so I’m nearly about to end my first year!! today i had my last lecture and seminar of first year!! time flies!! It’s the Nottingham Trent University fashion week not really fashion week but design students display their work and NTU degree show is there. I bought myself the tickets to the show!! yeah!! I’m going to talk about the fashion show.. To start with, I applaud the Degree show team and students, the content and theme of the show was quite exciting, the music put up were brilliant, I enjoyed the energy they brought to the show. The fashion showcased at the event, filled me with absolute ambivalence. Each student who showcased their design had a unique factor.
